My Nintendo 3DS XL won't turn on

I bought this thing off of eBay to play SMT IV, and since last week, it’s been acting up. For the most part, the charging light will show up, but if I press the power button the blue indicator light won’t turn on at all. It’s flashed once, and actually turned on twice, but not for long. This morning, it turned on, but as soon as I pressed the d-pad, the speakers popped and the system turned off. I’ve tried replacing the battery to no avail, and it doesn’t look like there’s anything wrong with the components inside. I’m out of ideas, here’s a picture of the insides in case I missed something.
