MacBook Air trackpad + keyboard stopped working; trackpad hot; fan on
Hello! Out of nowhere, my early 2015 MacBook Air is having problems: trackpad and keyboard stopped working and the trackpad is super hot in the upper center. The fan is constantly on. SMC restart did nothing. Laptop did not experience an impact; nothing spilled on it, just normal use. Can I fix it? Thanks!

Not enough here to identify what the cause is. This could be a battery issue, a trackpad that has failed or a logic board issue.
Without first diagnosing the failed part it would be hard to tell you if its economical to repair.
Many people are even willing to put more into it as its the very last one that offers some expandability (SSD) and offers more useful ports than the newer 2016 and newer models.
Depending on what your needs are you should be able to get another 6 or more years out of it. To give you an idea I'm pounding on a 2012 system which meets my needs answering questions and keeping up on news and events. It should last another few years! I use a much more powerful Mac Pro for my photography.
