[PS4] DS4 blinking until getting connected and turning off immediately

This started happening a few days ago. The DS4 won’t connect anymore because it just blinks in the beginning and when it connects, it turns off immediately. The DS4 doesn’t seems to hold charge (which the system shows when connecting and no orange light indicator) and wanted to know if there’s anyway I can fix it.

Things I’ve tried till now but the problem persists-

1. Reset the controller with the button on the back

2. Charge overnight

3. Change the battery to a new one

4. Connect to PC via DS4windows

5. Connect via cable

My only other option is to change the charging port, but I don’t know if that will work. Please let me know what I can do to fix this, much appreciated!
