Not powering up after battery replacement and full drain

Hello,

Had a battery that needed service on this Macbook. Used it until it was fully drained, waited 5 hours, plugged it back in, and it’s yet to charge completely. Macbook will not power pack on as well, even after an SMC reset. Anything I could be missing? Did she finally bite the dust?
