new nintendo 3ds xl no bluelight only orangelight when its charging

I recently bought a new 3ds xl it worked well until I accidentally took out the battery while it was running. I wanted to change the housing of it so I swapped it, but the problem started when I was testing if it’s working properly, I temporally connected the battery without the case it showed red light which means low battery so I thought need to turn it off so tried to press the power button but cause I was using both of my hands I needed to use one of them. my hand slipped and the battery just got disconnected… from what I searched it might be a fuse or diode problem but I don’t know how to read the multimeter.

did you check all the ribbon cables are seated right and just in case reseat them? if it is a diode you can test a identical one on the board to find the OHM reading and knowing that fine one that isn’t the same as the rest.

I think the cables are all okay...

but one of the diodes (I'm not sure if it's a diode) showed some differences from others. The one that was near the internet cable showed 1.90 and I reversed it showed nothing...? is that the problem?

@prame0627 which one I need a picture. and it depends. some only allow flow in one direction. the black lead of the meter is were the flow starts and goes to the red side

@prame0627 OK now we are getting somewhere! that 0.00 is probably the bad one. it may even be affecting the one next to it that is 1.9 and 0

what were the other silver tan ones showing just to verify they are not showing 0/0?

when you tested the 1.9/0 one did you do it a couple times?

BTW a 0/0 is a dead short!

the one on bottom that is close is probably fine.

The other one idk. never seen it half it but only one direction but I do know there is resistors that do half steps.

I think the biggest next step is to find the part numbers for those 3 or a diagram with the information so you can buy some. luckily they are really cheap.
