I recently replace my iPhone 7 screen and my screen doesn’t turn on.

So I recently replaced my old iPhone 7 screen since the ribbon cable snapped. And when I replaced the screen and booted it up it needed to charge. And the charging logo and everything was there so it seemed that everything was going perfect. But when I booted it up with it havin full battery I turn it on and see no apple logo and then the screen is then on for like one second. Like it flashes when I turn it on once and then doesn’t happen again unless I turn off the phone completely and then turn it on and the same thing then happens over and over again.

I would double check the screen connectors. It might just be a faulty conncection.

Turn it on then connect it to the iTunes or 3utool to see if it detected to computer.

Let me know the results

@honakrisi this is my 3rd replacement screen and the first time it worked but then the cable snapped and then the 2nd one was a faulty and now i bought this again on fixez.com idk what to do really. i'll keep you guys updated

I know but the real thing I want to know if it detect by the iTunes or 3utool.but if this is hard for you try this only if you know your battery having some charge...turn on your phone while plugging charger then leave it for two minutes then unplug the charge then plug it back...to know if you can feel vibration and sound

@johnkangta I feel a vibration and i hear a noise but on itunes and 3utools it does not recognize it

If the phone has a passcode it will not be detected on your PC or Mac until the passcode is entered. Since the phone seems to be booting the next thing you need to confirm is.

·         Is there image but no back light? When you boot the phone shine a torch on the screen and see if you can make out the apple logo. If you can it is likely you have damaged the back light circuit or the connector on the logic board.

·         If you cannot make out an image I would suggest trying another screen or at least seeing if the screen will work on another iPhone 7. This might not be possible but you somehow have to rule out a faulty screen.

I’ve had 3 screens that did almost the same thing so there’s no way they’re faulty

That screw has been unscrewed already and still Nothin

How do I post pictures

Last option if doesn't work connector deformed during replacement or short circuit (Incase you accidentally connected/disconnected display while battery connected)

My very last option

Connect only 3 flexes 1.power button flex,2.display flex,3.Battery

If not change back house or take logic board out the power it using power supply while display connected.

I had the same problems and I solved them with those methods.

If nothing changes diagnosis display circuit
