Can I use my phone after the charging port burned?
I found the answer to what HAPPENED, I used a high voltage charger my phone couldn't handle, but I need it for a few days. I heard I'm lucky it didn't blow up in my face.
Can I charge it with the issued charger and use it for a week or so?

Worse case scenario; wrong charger damaged and/or burned circuit lines, rendering any attempt at using the correct charger ineffective. No harm in trying. This assumes the battery wasn't damaged or the circuit between battery and charging port to regulate and end charging may have been damaged, making it impossible to recharge the battery. If you have a spare battery, fully charged, replace the dead one and see if the phone powers up.
