Why is half my panel dark and blurry after changing the LED's?

i just finished putting new LED strips in my Sharp television Model - lc-58q7370u. When i finished the panel was darker on one side and blurry. i think its solarization or whatever it's called. I have read that this model TV is famous for the LED issues & now I am finding out the panel issue is quite common too. although, i'm not reading a lot about the reason or fix for the panel. what do you recomend? Also, i repaired the one bad LED strip instead of replacing it. wasn't sure if that mattered.
