The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 is known by different models depending on the features. Regular model: SM-T580 (WiFi), SM-T585 (3G,4G/LTE and WiFi) released in May 2016 or S-Pen model: SM-P580 (WiFi), SM-P585 (3G,4G/LTE and WiFi) released in September 2016. It is a 10.1- inch tablet manufactured by Samsung Electronics and their new high-end “A” series.

I had screen replaced but it's so dim

Hi,

I went to a mobile repair shop because my Samsung Tab A broke. The technician said it was an easy fix that would cost me like $150 or so. I was considering getting a new tablet with less storage for just a bit more but decided just to pay less and can be easily fixed. Now i went to pick it up and when i turned it on in the car i noticed i could barely see the screen. It's so dim and the colors don't look right. I can't use it outdoors anymore and it's useless for me. The tech told me he forgot to tell me that getting a LCD screen replaced makes it always like that. He forgot but if he had told me this i would had chosen to buy another tablet. Now i don't have money to buy a new tablet and have a useless tablet. Do you know what went wrong here and how can I fix this?

its not always like that when an lcd is replaced so he has no idea what hes talking about, have you tried turning up the brightness in settings to see if it makes a difference.

Yes the brightness is all the way up but impossible to use when outdoors.

@Irais Backhaus i would say the part he fitted is probably bad quality in that case

What can I do?

@Irais Backhaus i would take it back and get him to replace at their cost as its not normal
