Is my JBL Pulse 4 cannot be fixed?

Good Day Guys! My borrowed JBL PULSE 4 works fine, adding the use of JBL Portable app to customize lightings etc. But I had a problem after the software update of the JBL Pulse 4 using the app, after the update was completed, the speaker won't turn on anymore, neither is charging, it doesn't respond to anything, completely nothing works. The app JBL Portable, broke my borrowed speaker because of the software update it showed on the app. Please help, is there any ways? 😭😭😭

Have you tried a hard reset? I know you said it won't turn on, go through the process and see what happens.

What's the hard reset you're talking about? I've tried long pressing the power button for 30 secs or more, doesn't work. Tried pressing both play button and volume up button, nothing happened. And any other combinations, I guess. What else?

Have you tried both power and volume up together for 30 seconds? Then try and turn it on? My bose wouldn't turn on so I plugged the charger in then when it made a sound I turned it on and unplugged the charger. Been fine ever since. I take it was charging OK before the issue?
