My tv will only work if I unplug the wiring harness from the mother board to the power board

@billdance69 when you do that, the only thing working should be the backlight. Let us know exactly what your TV does before you connect the harness. Also give us the complete model number for your TV

The tv works when I do that I just have no power to the mother board
And before I unplug it it only has a black screen and the red light blinks
@billdance69 when you say your Tv works like that, are you saying you have pictures and sound when you unplug the harness? What you are describing sounds like a bad mainboard.
