MacBook Air 11" refurb: Upper Case + Track Pad Q's

Hi

If you are replacing the trackpad and top case you will need a top case with a keyboard backlight if the old one doesn't work(if it works you can just go around the edges to loosen it up and transfer it over) and you will need to transfer the old trackpad cable over to the new one

As for Screwdrivers and tools I recommend one of iFixits toolkits, they will last you a lifetime and have the majority of the bits you need for most repairs and I can say this from experience and in confidence
