Phone won't always display, but works fine when it does
Hi,
I recently cracked my S10lite very lightly on the right hand side. When I press the lock button to wake up the display it doesn't always work (takes about 6 or 7 tries to then display the lock screen succesfully). However, when the phone successfully displays there is no problem - the touch screen still works even under the crack itself.
Would looking to replace the just the glass fix the issue? It seems that there is no problem with the digitizer if the touch screen works without problem. Is there a possibility it has affected the connection of the digitizer to the rest of the phone? Trying to understand what aspect needs replacing.

It is possible that the lcd is damaged. But if everything is working fine that seems unlikely. The power button may have been damaged when you dropped it. Does it wake up when you plug in a charger?

You can see it attempting to wake up when I plug in a charger, but the screen then remains black. Seems to be random as to whether the screen displays successfully or not
