So i have this laptop its kinda old. It currently runs windows 7. Very slow. So i would like to upgrade what i can so i can run windows 10 and make it faster. I was thinking upgrading the ram, how ever i dont know where to buy the correct chips. Any help and suggestions are helpful thank you in advance. Btw this is the laptop i have --HP Pavilion g7-1219wm Notebook PC

Here's a link to a supplier that shows what type of memory and SSD can be installed in the laptop.
Increasing the memory to 8GB and also replacing the HDD with an SSD will improve the performance of the laptop.
You don't have to use the supplier's products, just use the information regarding the type of memory modules i.e. 2 x 4GB DDR3L 1600 sodimm (PC3-12800) and the type of SSD i.e. up to 4TB (terabyte) 2.5" sata SSD to find suppliers that suit you best.
