Touchscreen not working after replacing screen with original apple.

3 times I buy original apple screen (the store said it’s was removed from dead iPhone) and no one has work. All The screen turn on but the touch isn’t working. The screen are good quality, no broken flex or cracked lcd. What’s went wrong? Now I’ve used the 3rd party screen and it’s work fine.

How’s the Apple Original screen not working? 3 times and 3 different store and price lose by the cheap 3rd screen.

hello there,

first question: are you sure the phone is working. The lack of touch function is not always related to a broken or replacement screen. I will say more: from a workshop point of view, most devices from the 7 family have touch problems due to damage to the motherboard. It's fairly easy to check if you know something about electronics and have the cheapest multimeter, even a $2 one.

Bert, I was going to suggest something along those lines, but re-reading the question, it appears the confusion is around why on three separate genuine Apple screens the touch screen didn't work, but when a cheap 3rd party screen was used, it worked fine.

I didn't respond because I didn't have any suggestions to offer, but it does seem unlikely that they'd get three bad ones in a row, so I'm at a loss to explain why an aftermarket screen would work. Maybe a bent pin where the original screens don't make contact but the non-OEM one has thicker pins and does make contact? I dunno, it's a puzzler.

Yes, it’s still working (with the cheap oem screen). No touch problem and it’s been used for 7 months. I decide to buy the new one because this screen have poor color quality.

Oh ya, I’ve been done flashing my iPhone and hard resetting multiple times.

It’s confusing still not have a respond from the touchscreen.
