Boot Up. power problem
Hi, My iMac Will Not Boot Up I Don't get A Startup Chime no Display. no Power On DVD Drive Fans Running At High Speed. On The Logic Board I Got One Out Of Three Lights Are Green. Thank You

Reset the SMC
Shut down the computer.
Unplug the computer's power cord.
Press and hold the power button for 5 seconds.
Release the power button.
Attach the computers power cable.
Press the power button to turn on the computer.
Let me know if this fixes it.

Hi, Mayer Thank You For Your Response I Tried All Of Those Things And Still Have The Same Problem. LED #1 Is Bright Green No Flickering. I Think You Are Correct I Have A Bad Logic Board. But Thanks Again For All Your Help. rhodes00
Don't be so fast to give up. Look at the cans on the logic board. Do any have corrosion on the tops? Are any of them bulged? Do they look like this?http://images.google.com/images?client=s...
Now look at tthe power supply and see if you any burn marks on it. Hit the reset button on the power supply power.

Diagnostic LED's for that model
# 1 Trickle Power from Power Supply
# 2 Computer On
# 3 LCD and Video Communication Good.
Is Led #1 nice and bright without flickering? sometimes you can have a bad power supply, and still get trickle voltage. if its not the power supply - its probably a bad logic board. there are some other parts inbetween.. but rarely do they fail.. cable, AC/DC board.. etc.
