Hello, I have recently discovered a crack on the frame of my HP 15-da2001ne laptop, which appears to be worsening. I am looking for a replacement frame and would appreciate any information on where I could purchase one.

I'm afraid you're going to have to be a little more specific about where the crack is on your laptop. Are you talking about the frame on the display or on the lower case?
HP has a parts list for your laptop; you should be able to look up the HP part number that you need and do a search for that number.

If you point out the number of the part that's broken, we can try to help locate it.

There are quite a few different options for both the palmrest/keyboard assembly as well as the bottom cover. For the cover, there seem to be different parts depending on whether you have an optical drive or not, and after that it comes in different colors.
The palmrest wants to know if it is backlit or not and what color is it, Here's the Hardware Maintenance manual that has all the part numbers and instructions on how to replace everything you need to.

The cracks are on the palm rest cover on the notebook and the bottom cover. So #2 and #22.

I do have an optical drive, and my notebook does not have the backlight feature. I want to know how to go about choosing the replacement parts; do they need to be exactly matching with my notebook model? Or can I just purchase any parts that look like they will fit?
