I can't turn on my apple watch,it only show a dim red apple logo.Why?

My apple watch suddenly cant turn on even if i charge it or restart it... It only shows a dim red colour apple logo. I wonder whats the problem.

Searching online it seems to be a software issue and could be bricked. You could go the route of a new battery but no guarantee.
