The sensor 2 oxygen sensor should be past the cat. Your model only shows 1 O2 sensor BMW part number 13628515640 (Bosch 17425) (#7 in the image) and what would commonly be the sensor 2, is a diesel particulate sensor BMW part number 13628582023 (#13 in the image). Since it is under the vehicle, it'll be tough to get there with a hoist or a pit. It might help if you can tell us which code the diagnostic showed.
