My 3Ds does not boot pokemon X or Y, though it does run other titles. When I used pokemon Bank, I was even able to move Pokemon inside X&Y's boxes, but the console still insists there's no cart in. How can I be accessing save data if the DS won't play the game? I've deleted all save data associated with the titles (updates,etc) and they still won't run. I've cleaned the cart contacts and all my pins appear clean and in order.

My guess (keep in mind it's a guess) is the ROM file is corrupted or unreadable, which won't be easy to troubleshoot without CFW. If you have it, try installing the cart and see if it runs. If it does, there's a problem with the cart. Otherwise, open gm9, head to [C:] GAMECART, and see if there are any files with weird names, or that are outright missing. I'd probably replace the rom regardless (hope that's possible), but if you find anything out of place, that'll need to be dealt with too
