anita, check on here"

Go to the picture gallery in your LG VX5600 and select the picture you would like to save to your PC.

2 Choose "Options" on the phone menu, then locate "Send." There are two ways you can transfer the photo from the LG VX5600 to your PC. The first is to send it to your personal email account by typing in your email address where the phone number would normally go. Press "Send" and the photo is transmitted just like any other email communication. The second method is to use your "Online Album", which is a feature exclusive to Verizon customers. Each person using a Verizon phone has an online album to store personal photos. When you select "Send," the "Online Album" option will appear. Select that option to upload the photo to the album.

3 Use your PC to check your messages if you chose to send your photo via email. Photos sent from your phone arrive the same as an email message. Click on the message attachment to view the image. If you have a Verizon account and chose to send your photo to an online album, open your internet browser on your PC and go to VZW Pix, listed in the Resources section below. Enter your username/mobile phone number and password to view the photo in your Online Album.

4 Download your photos to store them on your computer, if desired. If you chose to send the photos to your email, click "Download" or "Save File" depending on the email service you use, and choose the appropriate location to save your photo. If you sent your photos to VZW Pix, right-click your mouse and select "Save As" to save the file in the folder of your choice on your PC." Hope this helps, good luck.

I have a VX5600 without the top half, no screen, just the bottom half. When I plug it into my computer using a USB cable the computer installs a modem device on COM3. I'm guessing for some type of tethering.

But I want to access photos so I can ewaste it. Can I use BitPim or some other type of program to access the data stored on the phone? I used to use other software years ago to access favorites and things from another flip phone.

EDIT: Yes, BitPim worked. I think this was the software I used years ago too.
