Phone's Microphone not working
the phone fell in drink, and now when making calls, the mic doesn't work unless placed on loud speaker

Hi Theophilus,
When you're on a call, the lower microphone is used and when you're on speakerphone it uses the upper microphone. So it sounds very much like your lower microphone has failed as a result of the water damage and needs to be replaced. The good news is that it's fairly easy to do on your phone, and should be relatively inexpensive to fix.
First off, you need a guide to show you how to remove the lower circuit board holding the charging connector and the microphone. Unfortunately iFixit doesn't have that particular guide for your Samsung, but there's a French site called SOSav that has just what you need. If you use it with the Chrome browser, the automatic translation feature makes it quite usable even if you don't speak French.

You can find the replacement parts readily available on sites like Amazon, eBay and AliExpress, among others. Be sure and verify the part you find matches the model number of your phone; it looks like there are at least three different models out there that aren't all interchangeable. Here's an example from Amazon.
