Hi, I have a macbook air 13 (late 2010) with OS X Lion. The fan is quiet most of the time, but sometime it is getting very noisy, specially when i run flash videoclips? what could be problem Heatsink or fan....?

Hello, I had the same problem, and when I opened the Macbook, I found a little part of plastic, which was perfectly placed to produce an enormous noise. Just had to remove it using clamp. ThanKs to Ifixit tools :)

I had this problem. When I replaced my battery which I noticed was starting to bow, the fan stopped with the noise. Fan was working overtime trying to cool the laptop it seems.
