Power button doesn't start the laptop

So it allow charge .but pushing the power button doesn't turn the computer on or off.which means I don't know how to work on the lap top.so it has been a month with such problem.best buy said they can't fix it .if they had such issues they ship it to hp.i asked them should I buy new mother board where honestly I don't know how to replace the motherboard.i opened it googled it.its like may be the wires inside got disconnected where pushing the power button has no effect.

So it can't be fixed by disconnect the battery and remove the charger the problem with the power button that completely acts as it's not connected to the motherboard of the laptop

Only magic way to start the lap top buy using keys of combinations to act as power button which is wish or dream than reality
