Why can't I take photos with flash?

I try to take photos with the flash but the camera freezes immediately and does not take the photo with the flash, it stays stuck for a long time and so on until it reacts, but it does not take the photo with the flash and when I do this it seems to get hot also and it turns off out of nowhere as if it didn't have a battery when in reality it does.
