Why is my CD drive not opening?
When I press the CD drive button it does not open what to do?

Check if the cd drive tray opens if you click on the eject setting for the drive in Win Explorer.
Go to Win Explorer (press the Win key + e key - both together) > This PC > right click on the CD drive icon > eject.
It it opens OK, then the eject button on the drive may be faulty.
If it doesn't open, then there may be a problem with the tray motor or the drive electronics and further testing would be required to find the problem.

You can try to force restart the computer
if that does not work, if there is a small manual opening hole in the drive door you can put a sim ejector tool into that to manually open it.
Or just stick a jimmy tool and pry until you can pull it out with your fingers

@rufiniqbal what have you checked? Do you have power to the optical drive (CD drive)?
