MacBook air memory upgrade

can the RAM on the MacBook Air 2010 13 in be upgraded?
are there any vendors which make these memory chips?

No, the ram on every iteration of MacBook Air is soldered onto the logic board making it impossible to upgrade. If you want to upgrade all you can do is get a new logic board with more ram.

what is the price of the logic board?
The highest end logic board for that model has 4 GB of ram and can cost about $800. If I were you I would just buy a new one and sell the old one to help pay for the new one. If the MacBook Air is in good condition then you can probably get a decent price for it.
