Burns fail constantly what do I do?
hello.
I have a MacBook Pro 17'' unibody and burns constantly fail.
if its my optical drive how can i tell?

If you burn cds/dvds and they fail, try a different brand of CDS/DVDS
I have found that certain brands just don't work as well on my mac-book pro

I use random brands so just narrow it out to the good brands?
Memoex DVD_R works on my MacBook Pro.
I believe we already found the problem, it's not the brands, just the software you were using.

You cab burn to a single CD several times, until you fill the disk, by using the"sessions" option.

No point in buying it though if you don't use any of their extra features, which include a lot of "pro" features, which the average user won't need.

it needs to leave cdrs burnable if possible

What burning software have you been using? And CD-Rs can only be burned to once, it's a physical thing, so no way around that, you need to use CD-RWs to burn multiple times.
