Why won't my trackpad work anymore?

I've had my MacBookPro for maybe barely six months and my trackpad just stopped working I can still click it and move from page to page, but the only thing really now working it the response to the click.

I didn't spill anything on it.

How much would i cost me to get it fixed at an Apple Store?

If it's only 6 mos old they should fix it for free -- unless it's not a 2012 model.
