    • Note: disconnect your battery BEFORE anything else! This procedure is for models WITHOUT airbags!

    • First, pull off your horn button and remove the horn wire by pushing in and twisting the plastic keeper.

    • There are six "torx head" screws that hold the steering wheel to the steering wheel hub. It is NOT necessary to remove these, but it does make the job easier.

    • Remove the steering shaft nut and pull off the steering hub. A steering wheel puller may be required. Use caution as the steering hub may pop loose. Next, remove the two "torx head" screws behind the steering hub that hold the two plastic covers together.

    • The first picture is what you should see while sitting in the car correctly. Lean over to find and remove the two "torx head" screws on the left-hand side of the ignition assembly.

    • Use a flat head screwdriver to make sure the new switch is good (reconnect battery and turn the switch in either direction as if to turn the vehicle on then start then off. It should turn smoothly and only kick back to the on position. After testing the new switch, disconnect the battery again. Take note of the tab on the case of the switch.

Hey, I have a 1991 Chevy Cavalier and sometimes the windshield wipers/radio/clock don't work. Does this sound familiar? Trying to understand what parts I may need to order to corect this.
