This tutorial will focus on the replacement of the six ignition coils of the 3 Series BMW (1999-2006) due to engine misfires. Some reasons for engine misfires can include rough idling and late shifting. The BMW series 3 (1999-2006) also needs regular replacements for the car’s ignition coils. BMW recommends replacing these ignition coils every 100,000 miles for non-turbocharged vehicles and every 45,000 miles for turbo-charged vehicles.
