소개
You will be replacing the hood struts (also known as a hood lift support) on a 2016 Toyota Camry. Repairing these yourself lets you avoid a costly trip to a repair shop.
Hood struts wear out every 6 years depending on how often you open your car’s hood. The following instructions will help you replace the hood struts.
Using a pocket screwdriver, you will remove the metal clips, remove the old hood strut, and replace it with the new hood strut.

Use a pocket flathead screwdriver to get behind the metal clip.

Lift upwards and pry the metal clip out.

- Hood Struts Replacement
- Take a pocket flat head screwdriver
- The strut has a metal clip that needs to be removed
- Remove the ball of the strut from socket.
- Once removed, repeat the same step for bottom strut
- Install the new ones by simply pushing it onto the socket and clicking it.
To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
