Acer Iconia B1-710 Battery Replacement

This guide will show the user how to replace the battery in your Acer Iconia B1-710. If your device will not turn on or charge, your battery is dead or damaged in some way. A damaged battery will leak acid and corrode, so be cautious and prepared as you may come into contact with battery acid. If there is corrosion on the battery or any other part of the circuit board, put on: rubber, latex, or nitrile gloves. If you get any battery acid on your skin, immediately rinse the affected area with lukewarm water. If any tingling or burning sensations persist, call your local poison control center. If there is corrosion on the circuit board, carefully use a Q-tip and white vinegar to clean it off. After using white vinegar, follow up with isopropyl alcohol to clean off any left over corrosion.
