Asus Vivobook Max X541SA-PD0703X Keyboard Replacement

Flip the laptop upside down so that the back of the laptop faces you.

Remove the following ten Phillips #0 screws from the bottom of the laptop:

Six 13mm screws.

Four 11mm screws.

Using a plastic opening tool, pry up the palm rest form the bottom half of the laptop.

Use a spudger to flip up the retaining flap on the keyboard ribbon cable ZIF sockets.

Pull the ribbon cables out of their sockets.

Take the keyboard half of the laptop and place it in front of you so that they keys are facing down.

Remove the three 3mm Phillips #0 screws from the touchpad.

Use a spudger to flip up the retaining flap on the touch pad ribbon cable ZIF socket.

Pull the ribbon out of the socket.

Remove the touchpad.
