Prior to installing RAM, it's good practice to ground yourself to avoid static discharge from damaging the internal components of the computer.
Avoid wearing static prone clothing or standing on carpet during the RAM replacement.

Unscrew the eight 3 mm long screws on the bottom of the laptop along the parameter using a T5 Torx screwdriver.
Unscrew the one 8 mm long screw at the bottom of the laptop panel using a T5 Torx screwdriver.
Once all screws have been removed, carefully lift the bottom panel to reveal the RAM.

Carefully pull apart the two clasps circled in red so that the RAM stick pops up.
Remove the stick of RAM from the SO-DIMM slot by gripping the edges of the RAM.
