Bendix Magneto Rough Coil Replacement

소개

Use this guide to remove the rough coil of the Bendix Magneto.

The magneto provides electrical energy to to fire a spark plug. It utilizes a rotating magnet to generate current through a coil. A bad rough coil can cause the aircraft engine to run poorly and shake.

The magneto should be routinely checked after every 500 hours of use.

  1. Bendix Magneto Rough Coil Replacement, Rough coil: 1 단계, 이미지 1개 중 1개

    • Use a #2 Flathead screw driver to remove the five screws on the body of the magneto, indicated by the red circles.

    • Locate the two screws on the right and left side of the primary circuit.

    • Remove the screws using a #2 Flathead screw driver.

    • Remove the primary circuit and replace it.

    • The super coil may seem as though it will not come out, but it does. It can just get a little jammed.
