    • Make sure the device is unplugged. Then, turn over the device so that the label is readable.

    • Remove the two 15.7mm screws on the top of the device first, and then the two 26.5mm screws on the bottom (they are in the smaller holes and larger holes respectively) using a Phillips #1 screwdriver.

    • Once the Back Plate has been unscrewed, you will see the components from the top of the device plugged into the motherboard. You will only have 1-2 inches of clearance to unplug the components from the motherboard.

    • There are four components to unplug: the power cable connector, the two small no-fuss ribbon cable connectors, and the large no-fuss ribbon cable connector. The order does not matter.

    • This device has a blade located within the front panel. When handling the device, be careful not to touch the blade.

My 450 turbo will not turn on. Power light does not light. Power supply lamp is lite and plug provides 24V DC power measure by volt ohm meter. Is this fixable? Do you think the motherboard went bad?

Only print about 100 labels per year and have had the unit for 5+ years.

I’ve had the same issue - very little use from new, it just stopped working , now when plugged in there’s no blue light, just a repetitive sound but nothing else happens - could a faulty motherboard cause this?

In our unit the step-down converter, make the incoming 24 Volt to 5 Volt, are in malfunction an kill other components.

On the mainboard, the Q3 has make a shorting on the incoming 24 V powerline. Not shure if the PWM Controller is still OK (IC with 8 pin’s).

The reason for the malfunction is the possible of a shorted capacitor.. Bad circuit for the power!
