Many homes have decorative light fixtures, and for good reason. They look much more interesting than your average lightbulb. However, they also make it harder to change your lightbulbs. That is why knowing how to safely take them apart is a great skill to learn, which is exactly what this guide is here to help you do. Hold onto the fixture with one hand, and use the screwdriver to start unscrewing the fixture with your other hand.
If possible, have someone else hold the fixture for you.
Caution: Be careful not to drop the fixture. Broken glass can be very dangerous.
