Open the refrigerator door.
Empty any items on the shelf bar.

Grasp the shelf on each end and lift each straight up.
Disengage the two hooks from the molded tabs on the liner.
Inspect to make sure they are not damaged.

Remove any tape that was holding the shelf bar together.

Clean the shelf using dish detergent and water.
Remove any tape residue with a scouring pad.
