To remove the laptops bottom cover ten phillips head screws will need to be loosened but not removed from the bottom cover. These screws will remain in place when removing the bottom cover.

Six Hex? head screws hold the battery in place. Remove screws and battery.

There are three phillips head screws that keep the keyboard attached to the laptop. Screws holes will be marked with a KB to signify which to remove.

A hole next to the heat sink fan will be marked with a picture of a keyboard. Using tweezers, push the keyboard loose until the ribbon cables are exposed.
