Power off the laptop before trying to remove the battery.

Turn the laptop upside down, and locate the sliding tabs on the battery.

Slide both tabs in an inward direction, then slide the battery away from the laptop.

Slightly tilt the screen downward.

Use the plastic opening tool to force the screen bezel from the screen.

Locate the eight silver 2.9mm screws attaching the screen to the lid.

Using a PH1 philips head screwdriver detach the screws.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
