소개

This guide shows not only how to remove Genesis bow strings, but how to replace them as well. It is so simple even beginner bow users can do it. I believe this guide is necessary because if not properly done it can cause damage to the bow and injuries to the people that use them. Sometimes strings can also just come off if dry fired or if they are moved in an unsecured case.

This guide helps to prevent injury and promote the continued use of the bow and strings. Strings are often thrown away when all they need to do is be reattached. Since they are different fibers they take decades to break down in landfills.

  2. Disassemble the bow by using inserting the 3/16th Allen wrench into the hole at the front of the bow. Loosen each side by performing three counter-clockwise turns at the top, three counter-clockwise turns at the bottom, four counter-clockwise turns at the top, and then four counter-clockwise turns at the bottom. There should not be any tension left on the strings. As seen in the image the top sting is the longest-serving because it does not have red intertwined.
