Before starting the disassembly of your device, be sure to disconnect your keyboard from your computer.
Grab the USB-C cable with two fingers and pull it out of the port on the back of the keyboard.
When the keyboard's lights go out, that indicates it has been turned off properly.

Dip a Q-tip or cotton ball in rubbing alcohol. Any rubbing alcohol is fine.
Make sure the Q-tip or cotton ball isn't dripping but is very damp with the alcohol.
The step will require multiple Q-tips or cotton balls.

Using the Q-tips, rub the outside of all the keys that may be affected.
If the keys are really dirty, you may need to apply some force in order to scrub the grime off the keys.

Once you have cleaned the top of the keys with rubbing alcohol, remove the key caps from the switches using the key prying tool.
You may have to apply force to disconnect the caps. This is normal; no need to worry about breaking them.

After removing the key caps from the board, the switches will be available to clean.

Put any dirty key caps in a small glass with a soap and water solution and let them soak for 3 to 5 minutes.
Since the caps are plastic, soaking them for only a few minutes is safe.
