In this guide, I am fixing a hole in my Nike Pegasus running mesh shoes.

This guide doesn’t require any background skills or knowledge.

In Steps 5 and 6, those who have never sewn before should be careful with the needle because it’s sharp.

Before sewing, make sure your thread is the same color (or close) to your shoes’ color (At the end it will look much better, and your shoes will look like new without any signs of repair.)

Evaluate the size of the hole on your shoes in order to cut the approximate thread length.

Measure and cut the thread.
For my fix, I used 45 cm of thread. (It's better to cut more, than less.)

Make a knot on one end of the thread.
Thread the other end through the eye of the needle and tie a knot.
Wet the end of the thread to slide it into the needle more easily.

Sew from one end of the hole to the other. Continue stitching until the hole is covered completely with the thread.
Be careful handling the needle as it is sharp.
