Turn off the computer. If you are unsure whether the computer is off or in Hibernation, turn the computer on, and then shut it down through the operating system.

Firmly slide the release latch to unlock the battery and slide the battery release latch to release the battery.

Lift the battery from the middle and then pivot it outward to remove it from the computer.

Remove the bezel by prying it away from the screen using the spudger.
Note: Some models may have two screws hidden behind round covers in the lower section of the bezel.

Remove the four 3mm PH1 Phillips head screws in each corner of the screen and do not care about outer screws.

Remove the screen and place the screen very softly on the keyboard.

Remove the sticker gently and disconnect the metal blade.
