Most difficult part (for me at least) was replacing the button with the springs in the right position. Took some time but got it right in the end. Joycon works flawlessly again. Replacement part was €4,95 so well worth the trouble. Thanks again.

Repaired mine after button stopped registering even though it still clicked, however it still doesn't work could the motherboard be bad? Considering like a lot of people this was a “it stopped working randomly one day”?
BTW my joycons have been modded with the extremerate led mod and case mod don't think that's a factor with this particular issue but I guess it might be.
