Caution: This guide includes using a soldering iron and can damage your controller or your hand if not used properly.

  1. Loosen the seven 11 mm Phillips #0 screws located on the back of the controller. Loosen the seven 11 mm Phillips #0 screws located on the back of the controller.

  8. Now take the new rumble motor and place the power (red) wire on the right hole where the (+) sign is.

    • Take some solder and seal the hole so that the solder is completely covering the (+) hole.

    • Do the same for the ground wire.

Where can I purchase just the rumble motors? I'd like to try adding rumble to a PDP Rock Candy controller, which is essentially the same controller as the AfterGlow but in a neon colored shell and no LED lighting. I don't know if they'll actually work but it would be a fun project.
