Undo the black latch located on the base of the router by pulling upwards from underneath it.

Twist the base off the router.
You may need to jiggle the base of the router slightly.

Locate the 30 mm bolt and nut attaching the latch to the base.
Use a wrench to remove the nut attached to the bolt, freeing the latch from the base.
