The air filter cover is plastic mesh plate, on the same side as SD card holder.
Pry open the intake air filter cover on the bottom of the left side panel of the device.

Remove the used air filter and inspect for damages or blockages.

The filter has a smooth side and a fuzzy side. Which side goes against the cover? Or doesn't it matter? Thanks.

Just looked it up, fuzzy side should face outward.
