Turn off the Steam Pocket Mop and unplug it from the wall.
Be sure that any water in the water tank cools before proceeding.

Place the Steam Pocket Mop face down on a flat surface.
Take note of the placement of the handle; the side labelled "front" should should face forward.

Remove the screw located underneath the cord holder.
Turn the screwdriver counter-clockwise to loosen the screw from its slot.
This is a long screw and will take time to remove.
